Intels new  Grantley Processor

The release of a new Intel server processor means a raft of new server introductions, and last week's Intel Xeon processor E5-2600/1600 v3 product release. All the major server vendors who are Intel friendly  and smaller players, have prepared new lines to take advantage of the new processors, providing up to 18 cores and 45 MB of last-level cache per socket.

New with the processors are cache-monitoring technologies, and platform telemetry sensors and metrics to help improve data center efficiency.

Mobile phones to exceed human beings in 2014

Mobile phones to exceed human beings in 2014

Mobile phones will reach a staggering 7.3 billion by the end 2014 - meaning for the first time in history there will more mobiles than humans, reports Silicon India.

Obviously taking Phablets and Tablets into account, this boosted dramatically by users out side of the Western world. We can call this the emerging market where the telephone infrastructure has leap-frogged the traditional   network structure. With many Phablets having more computer power than early PC’s.

SK Telecom and LG-Ericsson prepare 5G without SDN
