DocuWare, producer of the DocuWare Document Management System (DMS) and Tobit.Software, creator of the David.zehn! messaging system, accelerated the development of this interface to ensure seamless data exchange between both solutions.
DocuWare sees the automatic merging of unstructured information from all types of business applications and processes in one central document pool as the core mission of its DMS.
Electronic e-mail and fax correspondence from the messaging system David.zehn! can now also be archived fully automatically in DocuWare using the DocuWare Tobit Connector - so that all this information can be retained in the same central location with other related records such as scanned documents, Microsoft Office and spool files.
Matthias Waessle, Marketing Communications Manager for Tobit.Software, welcomes the cooperation: "Both companies are successful internationally and view mid-sized companies as their target market. Together we are able to make sure that electronic data is not only securely and efficiently transported, but professionally archived as well."
DocuWare's President Juergen Biffar adds: "Since our DMS is based on the newest technology, it can be seamlessly integrated in all kinds of foreign applications. By working together with Tobit.Software, we're able to bundle our technology know-how to give our customers another competitive boost."
The DocuWare Tobit Connector was developed by it works GmbH, a DocuWare and Tobit Partner based in Greiz, Germany but may be purchased from any Authorized DocuWare Partner.
