resellers of Fujitsu Siemens Computers consumer PC
Norman ASA, the proactive IT security company, today announced that Norman will provide data security to all Fujitsu Siemens Computers shipped into EMEA ( Europe, the Middle East and Africa. ) |
Norman and Fujitsu Siemens Computers have agreed to extend their previous cooperation, which only included consumer PCs in the Nordic Region. The agreement is strategically important to Norman and represents a breakthrough for Norman Security Suite, the company’s new generation of security software. |
The new agreement not only widens the geographical scope of the cooperation between Fujitsu Siemens Computers and Norman, it also expands to include the business segment of Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ portfolio. Fujitsu Siemens Computers will be bundled with Norman Security Suite with either a three year pre-paid license or a free, time limited trial version on new systems. |
Prior to extending its cooperation with Norman, Fujitsu Siemens Computers tested security solutions from a number of reputable vendors. Norman Security Suite was chosen in particular due to low system footprint and the optimal configuration of the security application. Norman Security Suite was launched in December 2007. The new generation of data security has been well received by the market. |
“The cooperation with Fujitsu Siemens Computers is extremely important to us. It is a clear recognition of the outstanding qualities of Norman Security Suite. The agreement also provides a unique opportunity to continue our growth in Norman’s core security markets”, said Trygve Aasland, CEO of Norman ASA. |
We are confident that the new Norman Security Suite will prove a success, for corporate users as well as consumers. Recent tests indicate that our new security solution ranks high in efficiency as well as being easy to use. |
“We always want to offer our customers state of the art technology and also the best service we can deliver. With Norman ASA as our partner for the security we are convinced that we are meeting our own high standards”, says Björn Fehrm, Senior Director Digital Home at Fujitsu Siemens Computers.
