Eindhoven, The Netherlands – May 27, 2008 –  Honeywell  today announces that the Dolphin 7600 mobile computer is now available with GSM wireless technology and Microsoft’s mobile operating system, Windows Mobile 6. The added technologies empower users with wide area networking (WAN) capability and improved tools for fast and secure mobile application use.

The Dolphin 7600 delivers a robust suite of productivity-enabling functionality for the mobile user. Integrated Adaptus® Imaging Technology 5.0 provides multi-functional data collection capabilities including linear and 2D barcode scanning, digital picture taking , and paperless signature capture. The Dolphin 7600’s full suite of wireless technologies enable connectivity to cellular networks, enterprise networks and peripheral devices for real-time connectivity. All of this capability is packaged in an ergonomic and durable design, built for comfortable one-handed use.
