Spares4IT Launches online

Ever found that sourcing an extra battery for your laptop or a replacement hard drive for a PC was a bit of a pain?

Now, by using Spares4IT - an online store specialising in the entire range of spare parts for top manufacturers HP, Compaq, IBM and Dell - the hunt for any branded part needed to fix that fault or have a handy spare in stock is quick and stress-free.

Michel Heinst, e-commerce manager at Spares4IT, says: "Customers are pretty much looking for a needle in a haystack when searching for spare parts on the internet. With this in mind, we've put together a comprehensive database of IT products on a simple and accessible website where people can easily identify the correct spare part for their machine. This cuts out a lot of the 'legwork' and frustration when a branded machine that is out of warranty needs new hardware."

Spares4IT sells products dating back six years or more, meaning users of older PCs, storage, printers, servers, options, networking and laptops can identify what they need. Customers can search by product name, part number, model number, key word, and category or part type.

Mr Heinst continues: "Because of rapid changes in technology, spare parts are not only becoming increasingly rare but prices often seem out of proportion against buying new systems. Spares4IT make spare parts more affordable while supporting current IT systems and allowing organisations and individuals to extend the life of their existing financial investments. In short, people don't need to throw away their older machines just because they can't find a vital replacement component."

Catering for organisations with dispersed IT systems, Spares4IT's Advance Replacement Services (ARS) provide an alternative to out of warranty 'service packs'. The service guarantees that spare parts for products will be supplied out of the standard manufacturer's warranty period. This is done on a contractual basis, guaranteeing timed deliveries at multiple locations across the UK.
