Extreme Networks EMEA partner summit

At its EMEA partner summit in Athens, Extreme Networks has just made the following announcements:

$1·        Updates to the Extreme Partner Programme, including:

$1o   Integrating elements of the Aerohive Partner Program, such as the lead generation tool. Aerohive Partners will be levelled into the Extreme Partner Program.

$1o   Adding Extreme Virtual Assistant (EVA) – first to market with a chat bot – level 2/3, as well as introducing a platform called Collaborate2Win, where partners can identify other partners who have a specific expertise and are willing to team up to sell a complete solution to a customer.

$1o   Focusing on continuous learning engagement by implementing Extreme Communities Program (Champions and Heroes), providing Cloud Boot Camps, ExtremeCloud IQ specialization in January and a new Master Specialization  for Applications & Cloud.

$1o   Our rebate programs will continue – with an extra kicker for new portfolio sales within the Diamond Growth Rebate.

$1o   The Black Diamond Program will continue into next year, but with incremental requirements to be cloud-ready. Next year’s Ultimate Warrior Program will focus on selling “something different”.

$1·        A new Extreme Fabric Automation tool – the solution automatically manages the validation, testing, and operation of data centre fabric networks while providing critically important network reliability and resiliency.

$1·        The SLX 9150 leaf switch and SLX 9250 spin switch – two new high-performance switches embedded with guest VMs that work in conjunction with the new Extreme Fabric Automation tool.

$1·        Extreme Networks has been recognised as a 2019 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Data Center Networking - Ed Meyercord, President and CEO, Extreme Networks said: "Our customers are at the centre of everything we do at Extreme. Being recognised by end users is the greatest recognition we can ask for.”
