Toshiba business communications division launches new partner programme

Toshiba Business Communications Division is re-launching its Partner Programme with the addition of specialist categories, to recognise and support Partners with expertise in selling and implementing specialist Toshiba solutions. The new Programme aims to support Partners' business growth, as well as reflecting the changing market conditions.

The Programme consists of three Partner levels; Select (entry level), Principal and Premier (top level), dependent not only on the company's performance but also its commitment to Toshiba products. Certified Partners can then go on to achieve new specialist categories: Contact Centres Specialist; Unified Communications Specialist; Excellence in Healthcare; and Excellence in Education.

"It's a challenging business environment for our Partners at the moment, and we want to do everything we can to help them win business," says Daniel Fuller-Smith, Sales Manager, Toshiba Business Communications Division. "The changes to the Partner Programme will help them stand out as specialists to customers, as well as offer a number of benefits to support and inspire them in achieving certification in these categories."

The programme offers additional rewards for innovation, by identifying Development Partners that work with Toshiba to bring new products and solutions to market using their own technology. To aid resellers in making the right technology choices, certain third-party products will be highlighted as 'Toshiba Recommended' and  Distribution Partners will also be recognised to help resellers identify authorised Toshiba distributors.

Daniel Fuller-Smith, Sales Manager, Toshiba Business Communications Division, comments: "The Partner Programme will continue to offer the same high levels of support, to ensure Partners receive the technical training, marketing and sales support they need. Additionally there will be no changes to the unique Toshiba Advantage reward scheme, including benefits such as the Toshiba Advantage MasterCard. However, we hope the addition of the specialist categories will inspire Partners to be innovative as well as supporting them in the sales process in these challenging times."

Bistech Group plc has worked in partnership in with Toshiba since the early 90s.  Jocelyn Brown, MD of Bistech, comments: "We always look for long-term strategic partnerships that offer as much benefit to our customers as possible, and the Toshiba new partner programme will help us enhance our on-going relationship."

"Being a Development Partner with Toshiba means our customers have input to the future of products by being a key part of the feedback loop, and our technical teams then work closely with alongside Toshiba to bring these products to market. We have worked very closely with Toshiba for many years and look forward to continuing our productive relationship."
